Rubber Brick Installation
We recommend to install Rubber Bricks into sandbed. The Planet Paver products will be installed in a concrete frame. They are installed on a 3-4 inch thick rough sand or crushed gravel that is levelled for drainage and compacted thoroughly for weight resistance. Then a 1⁄2-3⁄4 inch thick finer grade sand will be levelled on the compacted bed, without compacting. This is the layer which will support the bricks directly and firmly, assuring toughness and at the same time helps it to remain flexible.
Rubber Tile Installation
We recommend to install Rubber Tiles onto a hard surface. Our recommendation is to glue the Rubber Tiles to the surface, as it will be instructed to do on the glue container, which will be provided upon request.
*Do not try to glue these products on freshly poured concrete*
The surface needs to be free of sand, oil and water. The design of the Rubber Tiles ensures that the water can flow away from the pavers. It is important to let the water flow away, because in areas with cooler temperatures, the water could freeze on top and in the pavers, and may destroy the installation.
